Haleigh Burns takes over Randall High Volleyball

Haleigh Burns named Randall head volleyball coach

AMARILLO, TX (KFDA) - After being at Randall for 13 years Jason Culpepper decided to take on a new journey and take over as head coach of the Bushland Falcons leaving the state title contender Lady Raiders without a head coach.

Canyon ISD annouced Thursday, Haleigh Burns will take over as head coach of the Randall High Volleyball team. Coach Burns played volleyball at West Texas A&M from 2009-2011. She was formerly the head coach at Caprock High, where she led the Lady Longhorns to back-to-back 20 win seasons during her four years as head coach.

“After spending time with Coach Burns its clear that she not only has a plan to uphold the strong tradition of Randall Volleyball that was left by Coach Jason Culpepper, but has a true love of the game and love for her athletes." said Canyon ISD Athletic Director, Toby Tucker. "What she was able to accomplish at Caprock was incredible, and I am thrilled to have her join our staff at Randall High School.”
