Texas Panhandle students sweep top 3 at Tulia welding competition

TULIA, TX (KFDA) - Texas Panhandle high school students made quite a showing last weekend at a Tulsa Welding School welding competition in Tulia.
The largest welding school in the country hosted 130 high school students from six schools across Texas for the competition.
The top 3 included:
- 1st place - Noah Bricker, Tulia High School

- 2nd place - Brendan Guzman, Hereford High School

- 3rd place - Kawliga Hiett,Tulia High School
The top welder at the competition took home a $1,000 scholarship to TWS.
