AMARILLO, TX (KFDA) - The Amarillo Bulls refused to let history repeat itself on Friday night as they took down the Shreveport Mudbugs in Game 2 of the NAHL South Division Final.
The Bulls dropped the first game at the Budweiser Bullpen 3-1 to the Mudbugs, but they hit the ice on a mission in Game 2.
Cooper Fensterstock scored two quick goals within the first four minutes of the game. The scoring slowed down until the Mudbugs scored halfway through the second period.
The Bulls offense was out in full force, but could not get the puck to find the net until the third period. Gabriel Seger scored seven minutes in to the third, making it 3-1 Amarillo.
Then, a flashback from Monday against the IceRays- Alex Peterson scores on a wide open net as Shreveport struggles to play catch-up late in the game.
The Bulls take this one 4-1 over the Mudbugs. They hit the road next weekend for two games in Shreveport with the series tied at one.
