TEXAS COUNTY, OK (KFDA) - A teacher from Goodwell Public Schools was arrested last week on four counts of lewd molestation and four counts of child abuse after an investigation was led by officials.

The Texas County Sheriff’s Office received reports in February this year of inappropriate sexual misconduct involving former Goodwell teacher Luke Loganbill.

Officials investigated further and issued a warrant for Loganbill on four counts of lewd molestation and four counts of child abuse.

Loganbill was arrested on April 18 in Kansas and signed a waiver to return to Oklahoma. He was then taken to the Texas County Detention Center and was held without bond.

On Wednesday, April 24 Loganbill’s bond was set at $25,000 and he bonded out the same day.

The Texas County Sheriff’s Department said the investigation is still ongoing.
