4 face charges in connection to Portales homicide case

PORTALES, NM (KFDA) - Four people face charges in connection to a homicide in Portales on April 7.

Today, police obtained arrest warrants in connection to the shooting death of 35-year-old Adam Holts.

Korbin Baldridge, 19, faces charges of first degree murder, armed robbery, conspiracy to commit armed robbery, tampering with evidence and felon in possession of a firearm. Baldridge is currently in jail for other charges.

Manuel Silva, 23, faces charges of first degree murder, armed robbery, conspiracy to commit armed robbery, tampering with evidence and felon in possession of a firearm. Police arrested Silva on April 15 after a high speed chase in Clovis.

Morgan Carmichael, 21, faces charges of conspiracy to commit armed robbery, harboring a felon, accessory to armed robbery and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Police arrested Carmichael at 1:00 p.m. on April 16. She has been booked into the Roosevelt County Detention Center.

Fabian Duran, 32, faces charges of conspiracy to commit armed robbery. Police are still searching for Duran.

The investigation is ongoing.

The case will go before a grand jury in Roosevelt County on April 26.
