AMARILLO, TX (KFDA) - The City of Amarillo has scheduled a meeting for Tuesday to discuss a progressive plan for the San Jacinto neighborhood.
The City of Amarillo has partnered with Potter County for the first San Jacinto Neighborhood Plan meeting, focusing on goals and policies that will shape the future of the neighborhood. The city is also seeking recommendations from residents, property owners and business owners regarding specific improvement projects and policy.
The plan is part of the ‘BluePrint for Amarillo’, a compilation of pillars and city manager initiatives authorized by Amarillo City Council.
City of Amarillo staff will be in attendance, along with Cassie Wright from Urban Milestones who will give a presentation and facilitate small group activities for feedback and insight.
The meeting will be Tuesday, March 12 at Heal the City, located at 609 South Carolina Street from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The city asks that attendees enter through door number three.
