WTAMU celebrates 100 years of publishing student-produced newspaper
The Prairie celebrates 100 years of publication

WEST TEXAS A&M UNIVERSITY, TX (KFDA) - West Texas A&M University is celebrating 100 years of publishing the school’s student-produced newspaper.

The 100 Years of News reception is at 3:00 p.m. this afternoon and will be held in the Harrington Fine Arts Complex in room 268.

At the event, you’ll be able to see archived newspapers from 1919 to current issues.

The newspaper will also release a special 100th Year issue that reflects on the Prairie’s evolution of journalism.

The reception is free, and refreshments will be available.
