Oklahoma Voter ID Bill

The Oklahoma House of Representatives will take up a Voter Identification Bill passed by the Senate.

The law would require Oklahomans to present a Photo ID issued by the government or an Indian Tribe when voting.

The Government Issued ID could also include a new county Voter ID Card.

Opponents of the bill say it could take away the voting rights of the elderly and disadvantaged because they may not have a driver's license and can't afford a new Photo ID.
