Hereford House Explosion

A house explosion in Hereford scattered debris for miles, officials have removed a body from the scene of the house explosion. The name of the victim has not yet been released.

Hereford Police say the explosion happened just after 10am Monday at 300 E. 6th St.

Hereford police, Deaf Smith County Sheriff's Officers, Texas State Police, and agents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms are all on the scene.

A neighbor that called NewsChannel 10 said you could feel the earth shake a block away. Unofficial reports say natural gas may have played a roll in the explosion, the State Fire Marshal is on scene and still investigating.
