Providing the resources and education to make the Panhandle the best wind energy producer in the world is the goal of a new non-profit organization.
Class 4 Winds is working with area developers, land owners, and stakeholders to help facilitate partnerships and networks in our region.
The new executive director A.J. Swope was introduced today in Amarillo.
He says Class 4 Winds will help the wind industry take off. "We're going to try to preach our word. We're going to make sure we reach out to every community within the Class 4 region. Make sure they know we are here to promote wind development in the best way possible."
