A man accused of beating up a member of his family and of selling drugs freely roams the Amarillo area.
Amarillo Police consider him very dangerous, one of the many reasons they want him behind bars immediately.
As we open our Fugitive File, here is 35-year-old James Michael Pettigrew.
He has warrants out of two panhandle counties. Cpl. Sean Slover of Amarillo Crime Stoppers says, "he has a Potter County warrant for assault causing serious bodily injury to a family member and also a Randall County warrant for a drug-related charge."
It was reportedly after a night on the town when Pettigrew assaulted his common-law wife.
But this is not the first time you have seen his picture on your TV screen. Last month, narcotics teams raided Pettigrew's home and report confiscating prescription drugs. He was arrested and charged with dangerous drug possession.
Another dangerous man still eluding police is 22-year-old Andrew Colby Malleck. Slover says, "he has an outstanding warrant for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. It all stems from a gang related shooting here in Amarillo on the North side."
And finally, convicted sex offender Santos Rodriguez remains on the run from authorities on a probation violation warrant.
