Toyota Yaris Recall

A seat belt defect prompts Toyota to recall 1.3 million vehicles worldwide.

More than 130,000 Yaris, 2006 and 2007, models sold in the U.S. are included in the recall.

The automaker says in several front-end collisions, the seat belt could cause a foam pad in the vehicle to ignite.

Consumers should receive a letter next week about the recall.

Toyota says owners can take the cars to theirs dealers to correct the problem.
