Hatcher Trial Moved

The trial for a Clovis man accused of 116 counts of child molestation will now be held in Portales.

Larry Hatcher's trial will begin two months later than initially planned, pushing the start date to May 19th.

Hatcher's attorney Thomas Harden picked up the case in November and insisted that without the later date he could not be ready for court.

Harden blames newspaper articles and Web site blogs for the need to relocate.

This will be the second trial for Hatcher after a jury failed to reach a verdict in October.
