Fire Burns In Northwest Potter County

Several residents northwest of Amarillo are back in their homes after they are evacuated due to a grass fire.

Around 2:30 Tuesday afternoon, a fire began burning near Lago street and Grande in northwestern Potter County. High winds helped spread the fire, but crews were able to keep it from spreading to nearby homes.

We're told one trailer and a farm tractor were destroyed, but no injuries were reported. There is no word on how many acres burned.
