Clovis Man Gets More Than Seven Years for Home Invasion

A Clovis man will spend the next seven-and-a-half years behind bars for home invasion.

Twenty-four-year-old Shane Medina was found guilty and sentenced today in Clovis district court.

Prosecutors say Medina kicked in the door of a home on October 13th.

He then attacked the couple who lived there.

Officers say Medina caused more than $1,000 worth of damage to the home.

He was arrested a short time later at another home in the neighborhood.
