Fugitive File: Jeffrey Utter

A man thought to be hitting up fast food joints not to eat, but to rob, is loose in the area.  Police want your helping in tracking him down before he strikes again... in your neighborhood.

Tips from viewers like you have led to the capture of one more fugitive, but we still have work to do.

Take a close look at Jeffrey Raymond Utter, Jr. behind bars.

Potter County wants him for alleged robbery and aggravated robbery. Cpl. Sean Slover of Amarillo CrimeStoppers says, "he likes to rob fast food restaurants....in one robbery, he made people believe he had a gun. In the other, he did display a weapon."

Because of you, police are making headway in catching wanted fugitives.

Slover says, "yesterday we received a tip on our fugitive from a few weeks ago, Cari Davis and we were able to get her picked up because of a tip to Amarillo CrimeStoppers."

Davis, who was wanted for alleged illegal use of a credit card, now sits in the Potter County jail.

Information on fugitives can be anonymously called into CrimeStoppers at 374-4400.  If your tip leads to an arrest it could be worth $300.
