Painting' the Caddy's

Amarillo teens are "painting" a stand against drugs and alcohol at the Cadillac Ranch. Impact futures along with 10 area schools and youth groups painted the Cadillacs to show the world their stance on drugs and alcohol.

According to Impact Futures research, the average age in Amarillo is 12 years old when kids try marijuana. After all the cars are painted, judges will pick the most original and most clearly understood message. Prizes include $100.00 dollar gift cards for pizza at local pizza restaurants.

There will be a poster made of the newly painted cars out in a few months. The money will go toward continuing education for the Impact Futures program.
