Randall County Plans New Fire Department

After splitting from the Ross-Osage Fire Department this summer, Randall County plans to have its own fire department by the first of the year.

Sheriff's Department officials say they plan to have a volunteer staff for one year.

The next year they hope to hire a paid Fire Chief. By the third year they would like to begin hiring firefighters and during the fourth year they hope to have up to four paid firefighters on call 24 hours a day.
