LANCASTER, Pa. (AP) _ Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin says faith in God has been mocked during the campaign, but her Christian beliefs remain unshaken. In an interview with the Christian Broadcasting Network, the Alaska governor said, "Nobody is going to convince me that my foundation of faith is not good for me and for my family, no matter the mocking.''

She told CBN News, "I'm going to keep seeking God's guidance and his wisdom and his favor and his grace for me, for my family, for this campaign, for our nation.'' CBN released excerpts of the interview Monday and planned to broadcast it in its entirety Tuesday. Palin also said she supports a federal constitutional amendment banning gay marriage -- a break with John McCain, who has said he believes states should be left to define what marriage is.
