A tradition that kicks off the West Texas A&M Homecoming weekend festivities is the hottest time on campus... It is long standing tradition at West Texas A&M... The Bonfire.
Tomorrow night students, alumni and the public are going to light the official start to WT's Homecoming game against Midwestern. The preparations started last week with student volunteers building the huge pyramid. Lots of students helped all week build the Bonfire that is built with pallets.
This year the Residence Housing Association has seen a decrease in pallets. They say pallet contacts are recycling them because of the cost to make new ones. It has been hard this year to round up pallets for the bonfire. The Pigskin Review will be at The Box at 8 ,with the Torch Procession to the Bonfire at 9 PM , the lighting will take place at 9:30.
