Two People Die in Semi Collision

Highway 54 just outside of Stratford is re-opened after being closed for nearly 10 hours following a fatal accident.

A head on collision between two semi's caused both trucks to catch on fire and led to the closure.

Two people died as a result of the accident, their identities are not yet known.

The crash caused four other people to be taken to area hospitals.

Two toddlers were taken to Lubbock.

One person was taken to an Amarillo hospital and one to the Dumas hospital.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
