Charges have been filed on a teen, that police say used a gun to threaten two Tascosa high students.
19-year-old John Michael Cook was charged Wednesday, for unlawfully carrying a weapon on to school property. Carrying any type of weapon in a weapons-free zone is a state jail felony.
Officers say John Cook reportedly pulled a 22 caliber pistol on two female students on Tuesday of last week. The students told a school liaison officer that a male suspect approved the two girls. The suspect was later located off campus. Cook was booked into the Potter County Detention center on a aggravated Assault with a deadly weapon charge.
