An Amarillo attorney is vying for a seat on the Potter County Commissioners Board. Amarillo native Cristal Robinson announced her intent to run as a write-in candidate for Potter County's Precinct 3, Friday afternoon.
Robinson says she "wants to bring integrity and respect to the court by demanding ethical behavior."
She has practiced business law, real estate and taxation in Amarillo for decades. Her and her husband of 14 years, both graduated from River Road High School. Robinson holds a Juris Doctor from Cooley Law School in Michigan, as well as BBA in Finance from West Texas A&M University. She works as a part-time instructor of political science at West Texas A&M, as well as a real estate instructor at Amarillo College.
Robinson she is running because she believes she can brings intelligence and knowledge on how the county government should work. She said she" was raised in the precinct 3 and understand the needs and issues of the precinct."
