Boys Ranch Rodeo Draws Big Crowd

It's Rodeo Weekend at Cal Farley's Boy's Ranch. This weekend marks the 64th anniversary of the event. It's an event that takes almost an entire year of planning. More than 90 kids participate in the rodeo.

Either it's bull riding, selling concessions or being the rodeo clown in the arena, everyone has their part. This is the 64th Annual Rodeo at Boy's Ranch, and the CEO and President of Boy's Ranch Dan Adamas says for the past 63 years the rodeo has given kids a sense of accomplishment and that tradition continues this weekend.

"It's something Cal Farley started years ago. These kids need to know they can succeed and we've given them a place to showcase the God given talents that we know they have." The rodeo started Saturday and finished up Sunday afternoon. Over these past two days, it's estimated that nearly eight thousand people came out to watch the kids.
