High Plains Food Bank Collects For Gustav

The High Plains Food Bank is asking for help collecting food items for potential Hurricane Gustav evacuees.

The bank is in need of non- parishable items including snack foods, and personal hygiene supplies.

Items you wish to send to the Gulf Coast they may be dropped off at the High Plains Food Bank at 815 Ross St.  374-8562.

*And most United Supermarkets from 7am-11pm.

All items donated will be used strictly for disaster aid.

    Voters in Randall County will now have one more item on the ballot this November with the Canyon Independent School District Board of Trustees approving a bond proposal for nearly $200 million to serve the school district over the next 10 years.
