UPDATE: Eight Inmates Escape from Curry County Adult Detention Center

Seven inmates described as dangerous are on the loose this afternoon after escaping the Curry County Adult Detention Center.

Of the seven men on the loose, one is convicted murderer and one is a suspected murderer.

The men reportedly cut a hole in the roof of the detention center using hand made instruments.

It was just before 10 Sunday night when guards realized eight men were missing.

One of those men was caught when officers noticed two people in orange jumpsuits running in the vicinity of the jail..

They were able to catch Victor Apodaca.

Victor Sotelo has the word shorty tattooed on his stomach. He is charged with aggravated assault.

Larry McClendon is six one, 152 pounds. He is charged with murder.

Javier Zapata has his last name tattooed on his back and his first name on his right arm. He faces multiple charges including abuse of a child.

Reynaldo Enriquez has Jerimiah tattooed on his neck. He was being held on multiple aggravated burglary, robbery and assault charges.

Michael England has the phrase "only god can judge me" tattooed on his back. He is charged with tampering with evidence.

Edward Salas was just handed down life plus 56 year sentence for his role in the shooting death of a 10-year old Clovis boy in 2005.

Louis Chavez has "fear none" written across his chest.

At this time we do know Curry County Sheriff's Office, Clovis Police Department. And federal agencies including the US Marshals are all involved trying to track these men down.
