Jurors to get day off in Victoria Osteen trial

HOUSTON (AP) - Jurors hearing the civil lawsuit against Victoria Osteen have the day off -- with testimony scheduled to resume tomorrow in Houston.

The wife of TV mega pastor Joel Osteen testified Friday that she did not yell at a Continental Airlines flight attendant or assault her over a stain on a first-class seat.

Victoria Osteen also said she was dumbfounded that flight attendant Sharon Brown accused her of assault. The incident allegedly occurred before the start of a 2005 flight from Houston to Vail, Colorado.

Brown alleges Victoria Osteen attacked her when she didn't get her way after the spill on her seat wasn't quickly cleaned up. But Victoria Osteen testified that it was Brown who became upset.

The Osteens were called as witnesses by Brown's attorney.
