Voters will decide the future of the old Randall County Courthouse in November.
County Commissioners voted today to add a ballot innitiative to the upcoming election to see if residents want to use taxpayer money to restore the building.
So far a portion of the $10 million project has been raised by non-profit groups.
They say the fundraising can continue once there is a firm backing from the county.
Commissioners have said for years they would not use taxpayer dollars for this project.
