Arizona College Campus Shooting

Police say a running dispute is the apparent motive for a shooting that left three people wounded at a community college in Phoenix.

The victims were wounded at a computer lab at South Mountain Community College. A police spokesman says there had been a dispute between the suspect, who was is in custody, and one of the victims.

A student says she saw someone get punched and then heard three shots.

Police say the suspect was arrested at a home a few miles away. A college spokesman says the campus was locked down for about an hour, meaning doors were locked and people weren't allowed to go in or out. The college has more than 8,000 students.
