"Don't Ask; Don't Tell" might get the boot

"Don't ask, Don't tell,'' a policy that has been in place for 15 years in the military maybe getting revised.

Some democrats say there's no chance it'll be changed this year, but think it may be possible next year, if presidential hopeful Barack Obama is elected and democrats control congress.

Three-fourths of those surveyed in a Washington Post poll over the weekend said openly gay people should be allowed to serve our country in the armed forces.

That's up from 62 percent in early 2001 and 44 percent in 1993.

Republican presidential candidate John McCain says he supports the current "Don't ask, don't tell'' policy.
