SAN MATEO, N.M. (AP) - State police say an 88-year-old San Mateo man who was reported missing Wednesday after he failed to return home from a walk apparently died of natural causes. Searchers bound Fernandez Chavez' body Thursday on the northwestern flank of Mount Taylor near his home.

DEMING, N.M. (AP) - A Deming factory that freezes and packs food will be shutting down as early as Saturday, affecting about 130 employees.
