Clovis Man Sentenced to 28 Years for Selling Drugs

A drug dealer in Clovis will spend the next 28 years in prison.

Raymond Gonzales will be serving the time because of three convictions of distributing methamphetamine as well as violating the terms of his probation from a 2001 conviction for trafficking cocaine.

Assistant District Attorney Hollie Barnett says Gonzales deserved the maximum sentence because he had proven to be a habitual drug dealer and the 28 years protected the community's safety.
