NM Blocks Alcoholic Energy Drinks

Eleven states including New Mexico have banded together to stop selling certain energy drinks that contain alcohol.

New Mexico Attorney General says an agreement has been reached with Anheuser Busch that will discontinue selling Tilt energy drink and Budweiser's Bud Extra in New Mexico.

The Attorney General says the marketing of these products sends an inappropriate message to younger audiences.

Anheuser Busch has also agreed to not produce any other beverages that contain alcohol.
