Mental Health No Matter What Income

People trying to save money are not only cutting cost on their physical health but mental health as well.

Director Sara Northrup says they have seen their clientele at West Texas Family and Community Services at more than a hundred clients a month.

The center offers support groups and mental health services for free.

Volunteers say a lot of people are not aware there is help for for those in need of mental health care... Regardless of their income. Northrup says organizations are working together to get everyone the help they need. "I think services are challenging for all the social services. We're all trying to pull together to figure out the best way to serve clients that have needs whether that be mental health or medical health services", Northrup said.

Northrup says if their center is not able to help someone in a crisis they will give referrals and help a client get to a therapist they need.
