Military Health Scam

Nearly 100 million dollars is swindled from the U.S. Military health insurance program.

Now, a former health care executive has been sentenced to five years in prison for helping his Philippines based company take the money.

The money mainly came from the Tri-Care program, which insures 9.2 million service members and their dependents.

Prosecutors say the company routinely inflated claims by more than 230 percent, operated a phony insurance program and billed for medical services never delivered.

Now Health Visions Corporation must pay by the 99.9 million to the government.
