Louisiana Street Hit and Run

An Amarillo man is taken to the hospital after being ran over, in what police are calling a hit and run.

Amarillo police say it was just after 10 last night when officers were called out to a large street fight in the 200 block of North Louisiana.

They found one man claiming an SUV ran him over. Witnesses said after hitting the man the SUV then hit a tree and the people inside took off running.

An ambulance took the victim to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Another victim...who says he was involved in the fight... Brought himself to the hospital for treatment for stab wounds.

Police are still investigating what happened.
