More charges are coming in another Amarillo Homicide. This time in the case of seven year old William Weschke, who was killed in February.
His mother, 28 year old Sondra Weschke is now charged with injury to a child by omission.
Lt. Gary Trupe with the Potter-Randall Special Crimes unit says these charges are coming since experts believe the boy's injuries could have been complicated by the fact that the child did not get medical attention right away.
19 year old Jason Mills has been indicted for Weschke's murder.
Investigators say Mills claims the child received blunt force inuries to the head.. While trying to climb out of the bathtub.
A trial date for Mills has not been set.
Lt. Trupe tells us their are more charges possibly coming for this case as well.
