Update: Jeffrey Detrixhe Extradition

A Higgins man claims he had enough cyanide to "kill a city'', according to the FBI.

Thirty-eight year old, Jeffrey Detrixhe waived his rights for a hearing in Oklahoma Thursday. He was arrested this week in Oklahoma on a complaint of possession or transfer of a chemical weapon following an FBI sting.

The FBI says, the informant conjured up a fake buyer tied to the white supremacist Aryan Brotherhood and arranged for a supposed sale of the cyanide in exchange for $10,000, a thermal imager and an AK-47 automatic assault rifle.

He is expected to be extradited to Amarillo next week. If convicted Detrixhe could face life in prison. A researcher at the memorial institute for the prevention of terrorism in Oklahoma City says the case was caught so early it's hard to say what might have come of the cyanide.
