Caring For Head Injury..Here's What Parents Need To Know

If your child does suffer a head injury, here's what doctor's say you should do.

If the child passes out, looses consciousness, has uncontrollable bleeding or an eye injury take them to the Emergency Room or their Pediatrician right away.

If the child is alert and talking parents can monitor the situation.    Just keep a watchful eye out for vomiting and confusion. Doctors also say sleeping is fine, but parents should check to make sure they are okay every three to four hours after injury.
