The two men in custody are brothers 20 year old Marcos Portillo who is being charged with 2 counts of murder. And 21 year old Gonzalo Portillo is being charged with tampering with evidence.

The double homicide has residents concerned for their safety. Police say they are adding patrols to the area surrounding the neighborhood.

"Our response we know that definitely this is two groups of people that knew each other had some kind of a problem. We put extra on shift patrol in that area all of our motor officers that we can cut loose are over there and our cops unit."  said Sgt. Randy Tenbrink.

But residents like Alex Rodriguez are still concerned for their safety.

"It could have been mine, you know what i mean, it could have been me, it could have been anybody on this block, it's just sad that it had to be them."

Tenbrink says there will be 20 to 25 extra patrols in the area watching for potential problems.
