A Clovis man could spend the next 27 years in prison for selling methamphetamine to undercover narcotic agents.

It took a Clovis jury only 18 minutes to find 34 year old Raymond Miguel Gonzales guilty of distribution of methamphetamine.

9th Judicial District Attorney Matthew Chandler says in April of 2006, Gonzales sold meth to undercover agents on three separate occasions. This is Gonzales' second conviction of the same crime within the last 10 years.

Chandler says his office is committed to seeking the maximum penalties against convicted drug dealers.
