Man Found Guilty Of Shooting Convenience Store Clerk

An Amarillo man has been found guilty of murdering an Amarillo convenience store clerk.

A Potter County jury returned a guilty verdict for Milo Williams.

47th District Attorney Randall Sims says the jury deliberated for about an hour before they concluded that Williams shot and killed a 61 year old clerk at a Toot-N-Totum on south Western in April of 2001.

The punishment phase of the trial is set to begin Friday morning.
