Women's Heart Attack Symptoms Very Different From Men's

As more women become aware of heart disease, they may be surprised to learn the symptoms of a heart attack drastically differ with those found in men.

For a couple of days you just are not feeling 100 percent. You ache all over and when you go to the doctor, you are told it is probably just the flu. But then days later you have a heart attack.

It has happened to many women who complained of pains in the neck, back, shoulder, even their jaw but were misdiagnosed.

One local nurse says the best thing women can do is keep going back to the doctor's office as long as those symptoms stick around.

Other symptoms can be sudden bouts of fatigue and anxiety. We are also told pain along the jaw line can be a dead giveaway to a heart attack.
