House Fire at NW1st and Milam in Amarillo

Fire investigators have ruled the cause of a blaze at an Amarillo home Monday morning as undetermined.

That means investigators believe several different things could have caused the blaze.

The fire started just after 5am at 2100 NW 1st street.

When the four trucks arrived on scene, they found the house fully engulfed by flames.

It took crews about 20 minutes to contain the fire, working from the outside of the home in.

Firefighters at the scene say no one was home when the fire started.

The fire did around $50,000 dollars worth of damage.
