Stocks Tumble Again on Wall Street

An upcoming interest rate cut could not stop stocks from tumbling Wednesday on Wall Street.

One local financial expert reports a recession is likely but it won't be easy to figure out just when it hits.

That's because by the time analysts can identify a recession, the country could be knee-deep in one, or actually out of it.

Economists define a recession as two back to back quarters of negative growth in the economy.

That means six months in a row of a decline in the nation's output.
