Girl Cuts Hair for Locks of Love

Andriena Lopez Andriena Lopez

A quick snip and it was gone.. All for a good cause.  local girl goes under the shears to help someone else.

Andriena Lopez... Never cut her hair... Until today...when she donated it to the charity Locks of Love.

A charity she thought about after seeing other kids around her age battling cancer.

Lopez says, "I saw a lot of kids who were in need on TV and I've been wanting to do it since I was younger and I thought this would be a good way to help them."

While she says the change will take some getting use to.. Lopez says it doesn't matter to her... She just wanted to do something for someone less fortunate.

"I'm excited and I am hoping that the kids who does get their hair is as excited as I am right now."

If you would like to donate your hair to locks of love... You can contact them at locksoflove.org
