A 23-year-old Amarillo man is dead after he reportedly lost control of his vehicle and hit a telephone pole.
DPS troopers say the accident happened around 3 a.m. Sunday morning about six miles Southeast of Amarillo on Farm to Market 1151.
They say Arthur Neal Hurst lost control on a curve, left the roadway, and struck a telephone pole. We're told Hurst died on scene.
