Teen Drivers Make Shocking Admissions

If your teen is new to getting behind the wheel... You might want to listen up.

Allstate Insurance Company surveyed more than 900 teens and found astonishing responses about their driving habits.

One-third, or 34 percent admitted they have been scared as a passenger of a vehicle driven by another teen, because the driver was careless, but said they never said anything to the driver.

57 percent admitted to speeding more than 10 miles per hour over the limit. 2 percent have raced another vehicle and 19 percent have received a traffic ticket.

According to officials car accidents are the leading cause of death for teens... And the holidays are the most dangerous time of the year for young drivers.
