Salvation Army Kettles

Salvation Army kettle ringers will spend one more day at area stores asking for your help.

Major Waller with the salvation army in Amarillo says they've already begun counting what they've raised.

Through mid December, he says they had raised 20 thousand dollars more than at the same point last year.

The kettle ringers will stay out until 4:30 tomorrow afternoon.

The charity will use the money they raise in the kettles to help people and fund programs through much of the next year.
