Senator Seliger Appointed To Energy Council

Local State Senator Kel Seliger (R-Amarillo) has been appointed to serve on the energy council.

The council, which is comprised of 10 member states and 5 international affiliates, provides a forum for lawmakers to openly discuss ways they can improve our energy and environmental policies.

Seliger tells us that 8 of the top 10 oil producing counties in Texas lie within his district and he looks forward to serving.

State representatives David Swinford and Warren Chisum are also on the council.
